About the Estate
At the Fazenda Mirante estate, Pedro Gabarra owns other estates in the area, where many different varieties are grown such as Arara, Caturra, Geisha, Mundo Novo, Bourbon and Topázio . The estate has a total area of 102 hectares, of which 71 are dedicated to coffee cultivation.
Since its founding, a strong emphasis has been placed on producing high-quality coffee, while improving the farm's social and environmental impact. Some of its projects include better waste management systems, teaching environmental education in schools, and opening the farm to the rehabilitation and release of over 900 animals ( Project Wings ).
In 2019, they also implemented solar panels and, finally, in 2022, they managed to obtain carbon neutral certification.
