Panela provides vitamins of group B, A, C, D and E. As well as minerals such as zinc, magnesium, phosphorus, iron, calcium, copper and manganese.
It is made in an artisanal way, first the sugar cane juice is cooked, it is put into molds where it dries, curdles and solidifies, it is scratched and it is due to this process that some “lumps” always remain.
