About the Estate
This microlot from the Karuzi province of Burundi is a wonderful sample of local Bourbon coffee varieties. It has been given the name Ubuto, which translates to "young" because the coffee trees have only a few crops AND because of the new partnership between Karuzi Province and JNP Coffee. JNP Coffee is very focused on women's empowerment and, together with some local women's rights advocates, formulated the Burundi chapter of the International Women's Coffee Alliance.
