About the Region
San José Ixtepec is an ejido located at an altitude of 1,600 meters above sea level, with a temperate and humid climate, ideal conditions for growing high-quality coffee. Currently, San José Ixtepec suffers from a serious labor shortage due to the emigration of new generations to the United States, leaving the coffee plantations behind and putting the continuity of this noble activity at risk.
