The history of the APROCETU association begins with small producers, today there are 36, it was born with 17 coffee growers from the need of a community composed of 4 towns, Sant Rafael, El Pital, El Caite and La Potenciana. Its inhabitants were leaving the field and therefore the cultivation of coffee, today thanks to the project and teamwork the families have resumed the harvests and have improved the community. Miguel producer of Gesha does his part of the board of directors of the association, and his wife does the accounting, in his nca he has 1600 mates of Gesha. Joan has the plot next to his brother who is in charge of the Benefit. The plot of Parainema has 500 mates in Production. Miguel and Juan have known each other since school, and have been growing coffee since 2000. This year they decided to work together and blend their harvest, hence Miguel and Juan al Natural was born, an experiment that aimed to work together, offer a new cup and join forces since by coming together they could offer a larger batch.
