About the region
The Atitlán region is considered one of the coffee jewels of Guatemala. Its volcanic microclimate and mineral-rich soil, nourished by the Tolimán volcano and the presence of the lake, create an ideal environment for high-altitude coffee cultivation.
The cool breezes from the lake and the morning mist favor a slow ripening of the beans, which translates into a cup profile with natural sweetness and bright acidity , characteristic of the best coffees in the area.
